Wisteria sinensis has been in the garden collection since 2006, but it only saw flowers this year. The birthplace of the Wisteria sinensis is China, it is a woody liana, the height of which can reach 20-30 m. As it grows, it "clings" to other plants or man-made structures. It can bloom in white, purple or blue, the flowers have a sweet aroma.
Due to the restrictions in the country, the greenhouses of the Botanical Garden are closed to visitors until April 6, but the outdoor area of the garden is still open for walking.
