“Ziedu ceļos 2025” features the Lilac Garden of the Institute of Horticulture, the collection of Guna and Jānis Rukšāns, the National Botanic Garden of Latvia, the Lēdurga Dendrological Park, the Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia, the Rhododendron Breeding and Testing Nursery “Babīte” of the University of Latvia, the Latvian State Forest Arboretum in Kalsnava, and Rundāle Palace. These gardens and parks have been cultivated plants for decades, sometimes even centuries, blending the traditions of plant collection with modern tourism solutions. Their flowering plant collections include both well-loved traditional varieties and rare, unseen treasures. Each garden and park has its own stories hidden behind the blooming flowers and trees, which they are eager to share. Crocuses, azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias, lilacs, peonies, dahlias, roses, and tropical plants—this is just a glimpse of the floral wealth awaiting visitors on the “Flower Trails.”
